Microsoft Dynamics 365 Senior Manager

About the role

You will understand the client's business, model their processes into the ERP, leverage the product's strengths to meet requirements, and bridge gaps to deliver value. Your responsibilities include managing end-to-end implementations of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), designing solutions that incorporate industry best practices, leading project teams, and interacting daily with stakeholders.

As a Senior Manager, you will gain trusted advisor status with customers and prospects by developing strategies that deliver tangible business benefits using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Deloitte solutions. You will oversee multiple workstreams across projects, provide guidance, escalate risks, ensure cross-functional coordination, and manage project delivery to meet quality and timeline expectations.

You will also contribute to building the company's tools and assets, improving delivery processes, selecting software and ISVs, and training on new versions and tools to keep your knowledge sharp.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementations of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Design solutions that align with industry best practices and client requirements.
• Manage and guide project workstreams, both functional and technical.
• Create and lead business requirement and design documentation.
• Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
• Build and improve company tools, assets, and delivery processes.
• Select software, ISVs, and train teams on new versions and tools.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, developing strategies for business transformation.
• Provide oversight for multiple projects and workstreams, escalating risks as needed.
• Engage in sales activities to drive business growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment (large or boutique firm, or as an internal consultant).
• 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) experience.
• 10+ full-life cycle implementations in Finance or Operations.
• Experience as a D365 Solution Architect and Delivery Lead.
• Expertise in Finance and Supply Chain Management.
• Proven ability to lead the creation of business requirement and design documentation.
• Experience leading workshops with stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a Finance or Supply Chain Management (SCM) functional lead.
• Hands-on experience with modifications in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations across modules.
• Knowledge of the Dynamics 365 solution data model.
• Experience with data migration tools and processes within Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with D365 Retail (an asset).
• Understanding of key ISV solutions, AppSource, and Microsoft’s partnering model.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $163,400 to $322,100, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. Compensation decisions depend on individual and organizational performance. You may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.
