Responsibilities

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams on Monday and Tuesday every week
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement
• Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs
• Communicate subject matter via Microsoft Teams
• Ensure Student Database is fully updated and accurate
• Maintain compliance with accreditation and CIAT policies
• Promote collaboration and participate in new projects
• Adhere to CIAT’s business casual attire policy
• Provide official transcripts and certifications for subject taught
• Have Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Fundamentals, Cloud Administration, Cloud Security)
• At least three years’ experience in field or two years of teaching experience
• Synchronous online teaching experience preferred
• Advanced subject matter expertise and ongoing professional development
• Effective presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Office and learning technologies
• Independent work with minimal supervision
• Problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Collaboration with colleagues and administration

Pay

The starting salary range for the Microsoft Azure Cloud Adjunct Instructor position is $38.00- $42.00 hourly, with DOE.

Schedule

Days and hours of work are usually Monday through Friday, with weekend and evening hours required. Live classes are scheduled twice per week, on Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm (Pacific Time).
