Microelectronics Assembler

Location: Chelmsford, MA 01824 – 6-month contract (potential for long-term employment). US citizenship required.

About the role

Seeking a detail-oriented Microelectronics Assembler to join a leading technology company. This hands-on role involves assembling cutting-edge electronic products and systems in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings.
• Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
• Read and interpret assembly process/work instructions.
• Work with microscopic to large components that may require visual magnification.
• Use various hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers).
• Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes.
• Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610.
• Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics.

Schedule

• Day shift: 4/10 schedule, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Second shift: 4/10 schedule, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM.

Pay

• Day shift: $24.00/hr. (W2).
• Second shift: $25.00/hr. (W2).
