About the role

This versatile position provides advanced microbiological test services, in multiple lab sections to support clinical diagnostics, disease surveillance, and outbreak response for laboratory clients, including state and federal and regulatory agencies. The incumbent will also be cross-trained to support broader laboratory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of microbiology techniques and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Current AZVDL Microbiology Technician II certification
• Valid Arizona driver’s license

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
