Microbiology Manager

Job Summary and Qualifications

You Will:

• Manage day-to-day laboratory technical and non-technical microbiology resources and operations of the market laboratory to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Assist Regional and Division Directors in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and interdepartmental activities.
• Concurrently monitor resource utilization, including payroll, supplies and expenses, client volume and revenue variation reports, outpatient volume reports, mileage and expense logs; participate in MOR.
• Provide leadership in the coaching, guidance, training, and talent development of staff.

You Should Have:

• A 4-Year/Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology
• NAACLS Accredited Certification (ASCP, AMT, etc.) is required
• 3-5 years’ supervisory level experience required
• Experience in a central or high volume bacteriology laboratory setting
