Microbiology Associate II

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing to support laboratory operations.
• Assist with environmental monitoring, including water, air, and particulate matter sampling.
• Perform bioburden testing and sample preparation.
• Participate in non-routine testing as required.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, GDP, and SOPs.
• Utilize aseptic techniques in all relevant procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in microbiology (1-3 years).
• Proficiency in environmental monitoring (1+ years).
• Experience with bioburden testing (1+ years).
• Familiarity with GMP and GDP (1+ years).
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry OR related.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Work Environment

The role is based in a GMP cleanroom facility, requiring strict adherence to cleanliness and safety protocols. The work involves regular use of laboratory equipment for microbiological testing. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
