Relocation net pay allowance: This position is open to international candidates residing ONLY in Mexico. The company will sponsor the required work visa for successful applicants. A lump‑sum relocation payment is offered to support the move to the work location, paid in the first paycheck. The bonus is contingent upon completing a minimum of twelve (12) months of continuous employment; if the employee resigns voluntarily or is terminated for cause before twelve months, the full relocation amount must be repaid.

Responsibilities

• Handles samples and performs analyses according to Operating Procedures and test methodology
• Maintains and verifies equipment
• Reports deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor
• Maintains records of all quality activities as documented in Operating Procedures and test methods
• Identifies and records nonconformities on Corrective Action Requests
• Operates laboratory equipment including analytical balances, food homogenization equipment, pipetting tools, incubators, water baths, plate readers, various commercial protein and DNA based technologies for food pathogen detection (VIDAS, BAX, GDS, GeneUp, BioRAd), spectrophotometer, VITEK Microbial Identification System
• Uses basic wet chemistry equipment for analysis of moisture, protein, fat, ash, salt
• Operates standard office equipment such as computers and phones

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field or commercial laboratory experience – Required
