Microbiologist

Position Overview

The Microbiologist will support sterilization validation activities, quality system documentation, and microbiological investigations in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and effective project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain documentation within the quality system.
• Perform sterilization validation for ethylene oxide (EO) sterilized products.
• Support new product qualifications and annual sterilization revalidations.
• Conduct residual EO studies and D-value studies.
• Investigate dose audit failures.
• Perform biological indicator sterility positive investigations.
• Follow established procedures and execute assigned tasks accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of microbiology, sterilization, and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
• Able to work in a regulated quality system environment.
• Good documentation and problem-solving skills.
