About the role

Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a new 96‑bed facility (four 24‑bed units) located south of Grand Rapids, integrated with a growing network of affiliated behavioral health services including UHS‑operated Forest View Hospital and Trinity Health Michigan’s partnership with Network180. The hospital will open a Behavioral Health Crisis Center offering walk‑in assessment services and expands provider and patient choice in the region. It provides inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site, inpatient psychiatric services.
• Manage an adult general psychiatry caseload.
• Serve as Medical Director with a clinical caseload.
• Work full‑time; independent contractor (1099 preferred) with W2 option available.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
• Hold a Michigan medical license, or be able to obtain one.
