Job Summary

We Offer The initial compensation for this position ranges from $21.00 - $25.83 per hour. Salary is dependent on commensurate experience above the minimum qualifications for the role and internal equity considerations. The salary may also vary if you reside in a different location than the location posted.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct support to clients through therapeutic activities, behavioral interventions, and skill-building exercises.
• Affords assistance in implementing individualized treatment plans and documents client progress toward goals.
• Participates in intakes, assessments, and team-based case planning as appropriate to program structure.
• Conducts check-ins, wellness calls, and crisis support under clinical supervision.
• Serves as a support to clients in navigating resources, attending appointments, and achieving recovery goals.
• Documents services provided in electronic health records in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines.
• Supports a safe, structured, and inclusive environment across settings.
• Communicates observations and concerns to clinical supervisors and contributes to case discussions.
• Might assist in onboarding, guiding, or mentoring newer staff or interns.
• Participates in trainings, team meetings, and supervision to support continuous learning and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and four (4) or more years of relevant experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education).
• Three (3) years of experience working with adults experiencing mental illness, trauma, or co-occurring conditions.
• Familiarity with behavioral health documentation, EHR systems, and Medi-Cal standards.
• Experience in residential, outpatient, or field-based mental health programs.
• Current CPR/First Aid and crisis de-escalation certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on setting.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing or sitting.
• Use hands to produce records and/or documentation in manual or electronic format.
• Ability to ensure significant communication with the Clinics’ community members.
• Lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally move or lift up to 10 pounds.
