MHV Master Scheduler

About the role

MHV Master Scheduler is a full-time, exempt position within the MHV M&H Valve division of McWane, Inc. As a key member of the team, you will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments, including outside vendors, according to the production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensures personal and team safety by wearing appropriate PPE and promoting The McWane Way principles.
• Supervises and manages team members, providing technical expertise in ERP system development and administration.
• Develops and maintains accurate inventory levels and production schedules.
• Monitors and advises on inventory levels and proposes improvements.
• Calculates production figures and ensures accuracy in the ERP system.
• Coordinates annual physical inventory cycle counts.
• Provides user assistance, direction, and training for ERP functionalities.
• Works with BI/ERP Data Specialist to verify reporting data.
• Assists in planning and executing production schedules and revising them as needed.
• Trains and guides team members in production processes and ERP functionalities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in a related field or completion of a vocational/technical school program.
• Five to eight years of previous work-related experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Microsoft Office Applications (Excel/Outlook) experience.
• ERP/MRP Software experience preferred.
• APICS certification/working knowledge of APICS principles preferred.
