About the role

The role focuses on the movement of products throughout the warehouse using various types of Material Handling equipment. It requires operating/driving manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks
• Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other like duties
• Maintain accuracy in timeliness, packaging, and systems work
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Forklift Certified
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experience
• Experience using a RF scan gun required
• Previous forklift certifications preferred
• Able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends
• Able to read and comprehend work instructions well
• Able to work well with others
• High attention to detail required
• Able to work well with others with little supervision
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted
• Able to speak, read, and write in English

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, bending, lifting objects above head
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts

Pay Range

The anticipated starting salary range for the position is $21.50 hourly. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
