What You’ll Do

The Residential Counselor supports group home residents with daily living activities and ensures high quality services aligned with Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP).

• Support consumers in achieving personal care goals and addressing ongoing challenges.
• Teach consumers about medications, track logs, and conduct monthly audits.
• Cook counselors on coordinating services based on individual needs.
• Transport consumers using the company van as needed.
• Deliver high-quality care in line with IRP.
• Accurately document services within required timeframes using electronic health records.

Who You Are

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in mental health, psychology, sociology, or social work, human services, or a related field OR a combination of one (1) or more years’ of college, plus related life or work experience equal to four (4) years OR a high school diploma or GED plus four (4) years of related work or life experience required.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, and the ability to drive as an essential function.
