About the role

The Department of Dance, Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University invites applications for part-time casual academic support positions for Fall 2026. Positions include production staff for dance performances, guest artists, and accompanists for applied lessons. Responsibilities

• Serve as production staff for dance performances.
• Work as guest artists for dance department activities.
• Provide accompaniment for applied lessons.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in fine arts or other relevant bachelor’s degree.
• At least one year of performance or technical experience.
• Graduate degree preferred.

Pay

A minimum of $250 for the contract period, depending on the specific position and term.
