MGR SECURITY 2
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. This is a full-time, 1st shift role located at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Mississippi. No relocation assistance or telework opportunities are available.
About the Role
The candidate will manage the Security Investigations Division, leading a team of security investigation professionals. Responsibilities include overseeing criminal investigations related to corporate security matters across municipal, county, state, and federal levels. The role requires proficiency in investigations case management, technology, and software supporting case management and metrics. The candidate must effectively manage diverse investigator personalities to optimize engagement, performance, and professional development.
The candidate will conduct annual evaluations of investigators, assess problems, formulate decisions, and adapt to shifting priorities. They will ensure the effective implementation of policies, procedures, and work instructions designed to protect people, property, information, the HII brand, and other organizational assets. Additional assignments may be directed by the Director of Security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience. A combination of completed education and experience may substitute for a degree.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in law enforcement criminal investigations, including service with state or federal law enforcement agencies.
