U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. This is a full-time, 1st shift role located at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Mississippi. No relocation assistance or telework opportunities are available.
About the Role
The candidate will manage the Security Investigations Division, leading a team of security investigation professionals. Responsibilities include overseeing criminal investigations related to corporate security matters at municipal, county, state, and federal levels, as well as managing investigations case management systems and related technology.
The role requires strong legal acumen in security practices and regulations, the ability to assess problems, formulate decisions, and adapt to shifting priorities. The candidate will conduct annual evaluations of investigators, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures to protect people, property, information, the HII brand, and organizational assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a degree.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in law enforcement criminal investigations, including service with state or federal law enforcement agencies.
