Location: Dallas, TX and the surrounding Southern Region

About the Role

The Regional Support Dietitian provides clinical support to regional accounts and requires extensive travel—up to 100% to sites across the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates resident nutritional needs and establishes individualized plan of care
• Monitors resident status and takes appropriate actions
• Works collaboratively with dining services department ensuring a smooth seven-day operation
• Creates and maintains documentation
• Maintains client relationships
• Updates and applies professional knowledge
• Sets and communicates objectives, reinforces high standards, monitors performance, and addresses issues
• Completes required departmental audits (clinical documentation review, food safety and sanitation, meal accuracy, test tray audits)
• Completes corrective action plans resulting from audits
• Completes directives from corporate support by designated timeframes

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a valid CDR # and licensure/certification
• Serve Safe, Choke Save, and Allergen certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics; successful completion of Dietetic Internship or equivalent
• Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Master’s degree preferred
• 2 years of clinical experience in a senior living environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Must reside within commutable distance to a major airport
• Ability to work with extreme temperatures/conditions, heated equipment, grease, refrigeration/freezer, and other at-risk conditions
• Computer proficiency with multiple software programs
• Involves repetitive motion, walking, and/or standing for extended periods
• Frequent lifting, pushing, carrying, and repetitive wrist motion

Pay

$85,000 - $95,000

Schedule

10 days on / 4 days off or 5 days on / 2 days off, based on business needs
