About the Role

Leads safety culture and requirements to ensure no incidents on the project while working closely with subcontractors and the project team. Manages key subcontractors (CTIW and ME&I Construction Services) to ensure timely and budget-compliant deliveries, minimizing change orders except for unit rate tonnage adjustments. Interfaces with Shaw’s Clearfield team to coordinate pipe spool deliveries and maintain project cost control through monthly pricing updates and timely client invoicing. Oversees schedule management, including preparation, monitoring, and guidance. Prepares cost reports, weekly and monthly progress reports, and leads client and subcontractor meetings, including issuing minutes of meetings (MOM). Manages all project change orders, leads risk and opportunity reviews, and ensures client satisfaction throughout the project phase. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Determines and implements schedules and cost accounting procedures and methods.
  • Prepares and analyzes cost reports and costing audits.
  • Examines and reviews unusual cost records to ensure accurate cost data allocation.
  • Manages project costs, including monthly updates with revised tonnages and timely client invoicing.
  • Leads client and subcontractor weekly meetings, including issuance of minutes of meetings (MOM).
  • Manages all project change orders, if any.
  • Leads project risk and opportunities reviews.
  • Ensures all Master Document Register (MDR) documents from Shaw and subcontractors are submitted and approved on time.
  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinates work activities with other team members.
  • Supervises daily activities of business support, technical, or production staff in an assigned area.
  • Resolves standard and non-standard problems.
  • Manages professional employees and/or supervisors; may manage business support, technical, or production staff.
  • Provides technical guidance to employees and develops processes and procedures to implement functional strategies.
  • Manages and works within budget for own area, allocating resources accordingly.
  • Develops plans and coordinates resources to meet operational objectives within own area.
  • Sets priorities for employees to meet deadlines and manages performance through goal setting, ongoing assessment, and coaching.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), with additional specialized training or college coursework and 5–10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the role.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and see.
  • Performs sedentary work: exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • Performs repetitive motions as required.
