Mgr, Procurement
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Mgr, Procurement to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead procurement activities that support mission-critical programs and ensure sourcing decisions align with operational, technical, and contractual requirements. The position will work closely with program office stakeholders and suppliers to shape strategies, manage subcontract execution, and secure favorable terms. The ideal candidate will bring strong supplier management experience, comfort working with drawings and specifications, and the ability to navigate complex government-related procurement environments. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and administer a variety of subcontract types, including Firm Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursement arrangements
- Evaluate and select suppliers to meet program requirements
- Generate and negotiate Long Term Price Agreements
- Collaborate with Program Office representatives to develop procurement strategies
- Implement procurement strategies and define Statements of Work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree and 5 years of experience
- Ability to read and understand drawing specifications
- Supplier management experience
- Familiarity with SAP software application
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Pay
Compensation: $107,500 – $204,500 annually
