MGR - NURSING
Responsibilities
Fairfax Behavioral Health, a private, free‑standing mental health hospital founded in 1930, provides psychiatric and detox treatment across multiple locations in Washington (Kirkland, Everett, Monroe). The organization seeks a compassionate and skilled Nurse Manager for its Kirkland location.
- Manage and direct the activities of patient care.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to formulate and implement patient‑care goals.
- Train and supervise all program staff, including Program Specialists and RNs, to ensure the highest level of care.
- Provide physical and psychological support for patients and families while developing staff expertise.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing (preferred).
- Additional experience may substitute for a degree on the basis of two years of experience for each education year.
- Management experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility (preferred).
Licensure & Certifications
- Current RN license issued by the state board of nursing.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of employment.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission/CMS, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
