About the group

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers' installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

Impact

Directs the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites. Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained. Schedules personnel responding to critical situations. Maintains communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department’s attention. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical and administrative support activities such as installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and engineering change upgrades at client sites.
• Maintain adequate records and systems.
• Schedule personnel to respond to critical situations.
• Maintain communication with design management and specialists to resolve technical problems.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience.

Work Location

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. This role follows a hybrid model:

• On-site Flex: Work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week.
• Virtual Flex: Work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
