Mgr - Construction

The Mgr – Construction will be responsible for organization, implementation, scheduling and overall completion and acceptance of construction projects. Oversee and direct construction project from conception to completion, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.Manage the planning, materials, building, and budget of a construction projects; and negotiates and provides cost estimates.Oversee all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building codes, safety regulations and plans.Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors including writing subcontracts and purchase orders.Meet contractual conditions of performance.Select and oversee the work of specialized contractors and employees, and ensures work is delivered on time and on budget with the utmost quality.Report on status and progress of project and budget matters to management and/or clients.Plan ahead to prevent problems, and resolve any emerging issues, delays, emergencies, etc.Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.Analyze, manage and mitigate risks both for the company as well as workers on site.Select appropriate construction methods and strategies; and schedules and coordinates construction processes so that projects meet design specifications.Mentor, coach, train and develop team.
