Mfg Systems Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with availability for 12-hour day shifts following Shift 7.
• Provide Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for database systems and data loader processes.
• Ensure smooth data operations and resolve technical issues.
• Support end-users with database and data integration challenges in an automated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related engineering field, 3-6 years of experience in database engineering or database administration support, Experience with relational database technologies, Experience with automated monitoring and alerting systems, i.e. SCOM, LA2
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in SQL query writing and optimization, Experience with database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), Experience with database concepts (tables, indexes, views, stored procedures), Experience with database backup and recovery procedures, Experience with database monitoring tools and performance metrics
