Mfg Operations Analyst 2 (contract)

About the role

BDS is seeking an Mfg Operations Analyst to support the VC-25B team in San Antonio, TX. The position is contract-based and requires 3+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance and/or aircraft modification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Conduct research to obtain constraint knowledge including parts and engineering details
• Track, status, and resolve constraints
• Investigate and research future schedules to proactively identify constraints
• Attend line by line review meetings to communicate status
• Utilize Ship Side Action Tracker (SAT) system for tracking constraints
• Create and present project proposals to senior leadership and mechanics
• Aid mechanics with specifications and drawings
• Assist with procurement and/or modification of tools
• Coach less knowledgeable mechanics and team members on processes and build knowledge/skills
• Closure of quality corrective actions (IQDS) items and investigation of root cause and solutions
• Foster emotional intelligence and customer service mentality

Requirements

• 100% onsite position
• Required to work any shift
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience with GOLD and I-GOLD, Vipers, NCM, and Ship Side Action Tracker software
• Current US security clearance at the Secret level or higher
• Ability to obtain a Yankee White Clearance
• US citizenship preferred
