Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot products or assemblies in your area of responsibility.
- Assist in manufacturing safety, productivity, and quality improvements on the assembly floor, machine shop, and/or sheet metal shop.
- Design, build, and implement tools for new or existing products or assemblies.
- Create and deploy work instructions.
- Solve basic problems with minimal direction and implement solutions.
- Implement new parts, assemblies, or products into production.
- Create facility layouts and specify equipment with minimal direction.
- Communicate effectively with all personnel, following instructions, procedures, and escalating workflow or quality issues.
- Exhibit honesty, integrity, and adherence to rules, procedures, and policies.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Basic knowledge of CAD modeling systems.
- Experience analyzing data.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS/BFA/BSA) from a four-year college or university, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, plus additional related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong language skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and regulations in English; write analytical/technical reports, business correspondence, and instructional material; speak effectively before groups, customers, or employees.
- Mathematical skills: ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; apply concepts of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
- Reasoning ability: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

Pay
$68,000 – $110,000 per year.
