Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer 3 position is located in Oxnard, CA initially, with relocation to Henderson, NV. This role involves troubleshooting manufacturing and assembly issues, designing assembly tools, and developing manufacturing processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot any problem on a Haas machine within their discipline, mechanical or electrical.
• Troubleshoot basic machine geometry problems.
• Design assembly tooling that is rugged and simple to use, as well as design logical floor plans for manufacturing.
• Own their projects and drive all aspects to completion.
• Meet aggressive deadlines consistently and work well independently.
• Solve most manufacturing problems on the shop floor and develop manufacturing procedures for new and existing product lines.
• Design a manufacturing process, including tooling, work instructions, labor standards, facility layouts, and specify equipment.
• May act as a lead to junior employees within the department.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering from a four-year college or university.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents; write analytical and technical reports; speak effectively; calculate figures and amounts; apply mathematical concepts; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret instructions; deal with abstract variables; sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach, lift up to 10 lbs., occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.; work in a noisy environment; work around moving mechanical parts and vibration; work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
