Metrology Lab Technician III - Nightshift

Schedule

Compressed 12‑hour shifts – nightshift.

Pay

$25‑$29 hourly (DOE).

Responsibilities

• Operate metrology tools including electron microscopes, Focused Ion Beam and additional lab equipment to complete analytical requests in the client lab
• Perform tests and sampling, including setup and operation of metrology equipment
• Utilize client software and equipment to complete tasks, support processes and product tracking
• Provide reports and results of sampling and experiments
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and minor maintenance of lab equipment

Requirements

• Excellent communication, lab protocol and time management skills
• Ability to support a 12‑hour compressed work week schedule
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environment, processes and equipment
• Direct experience using metrology and/or electron microscopy equipment
• A.S. or B.S. degree in STEM or a related scientific field
• Physical ability to walk up to 5+ miles per day, stand 8‑10 hours at a time, bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights or on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds
