Metrology Engineer - Third Shift
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must include sections only when posting has real specific content.
We have content:
- About Commonwealth Fusion Systems: description paragraph.
- Role description: "Join the power movement as a Metrology Engineer CFS is seeking a motivated Metrology Engineer to develop, validate, and deploy inspection methods for highly engineered hardware supporting the SPARC project..." This is about the role.
- The Schedule: Shift: Monday through Friday, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
- Salary Range: $80,000 - 130,000 (includes 15% shift differential)
- What you'll do: list of responsibilities (bulleted list)
- What we’re looking for: list of qualifications (Bachelors degree, 3-5 years experience, etc.)
- Bonus points for: list
- Must-have requirements: list
- Benefits: list (Competitive compensation with equity, 13 Company-wide Holidays, Flexible vacation days, 10 sick days, Generous parental leave policy, Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, Professional growth opportunities, Team-building activities)
Also there is mention: "Salary range for this full-time position + equity + benefits. The actual salary will depend on level, location, qualifications, and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects new hire salaries for the position across all US locations." This is more about salary but we already have salary range.
We need to avoid boilerplate: EEO, equal opportunity, export control, etc. Remove those.
We need to preserve all substantive info.
We need to decide sections: About the role (maybe "About the role" heading). Responsibilities (what you'll do). Requirements (maybe combine qualifications and must-have? But we have separate sections: Qualifications, Skills, Requirements. The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can map content accordingly.
- About the role: could include the description of the role and mission.
- Responsibilities: the "What you'll do" list.
- Requirements: maybe the "Must-have requirements" list.
- Qualifications: the "What we’re looking for" list (education, experience, etc.)
- Skills: maybe the "Bonus points for" list (additional desired skills) or could be skills.
- Benefits: the benefits list.
- Pay: salary range.
- Schedule: shift schedule.
We must not create sections with placeholder text. All have content.
We must not repeat job title as heading.
We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers.
We must output only HTML fragment.
We need to use for each section heading, then content: either
for prose or
- for lists.
We need to preserve all substantive info: include the description of Commonwealth Fusion Systems, the role description, schedule, salary, responsibilities, qualifications, bonus points, must-have, benefits.
We need to ensure we don't include boilerplate like "At CFS, we excel in fast-paced environments..." that's values; maybe that's substantive? It's about company values; could be included in About the role or maybe separate? It's not boilerplate; it's about values. Could be included in About the role section.
Also "This role requires compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies..." is maybe boilerplate legal; we should remove as per instruction: remove legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. So remove that.
Also "#CFS-EX" maybe a tag; remove.
Also "As we grow, we’re eager to bring on mission-driven folks..." that's values; could stay.
We need to decide what to include.
Let's extract sections:
About Commonwealth Fusion Systems paragraph: "Commonwealth Fusion Systems is on a mission to deliver the urgent transition to fusion energy. Combining decades of research, top talent, and new technologies, we’re designing and building commercially viable fusion power plants. And we're working with policymakers, suppliers, and many others to build the energy industry of the future. We’re in the best position to make it happen. Since 2018, we’ve raised $4 billion of capital, making us the largest and leading fusion company in the world. Now we’re looking for more thinkers, doers, builders, and makers to join us. People who’ll bring new perspectives, solve tough problems, and thrive as part of a team. If that’s you and this role fits, we want to hear from you."
Then "Join the power movement as a Metrology Engineer CFS is seeking a motivated Metrology Engineer to develop, validate, and deploy inspection methods for highly engineered hardware supporting the SPARC project. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with complex parts and advanced measurement systems, partnering closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Quality, and R&D to ensure hardware meets demanding performance and reliability requirements. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy solving ambiguous measurement problems, communicating clearly across disciplines, and building repeatable processes that scale. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership—from defining inspection strategy and tooling, to documenting methods and presenting results—while continuously improving how metrology supports production and engineering teams."
That's role description.
Then schedule and salary.
Then "What you'll do:" list.
Then "What we’re looking for:" list.
Then "Bonus points for:" list.
Then "Must-have requirements:" list.
Then benefits list.
We also have "At CFS, we excel in fast-paced environments, driven by our values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique. As we grow, we’re eager to bring on mission-driven folks who offer diverse perspectives and fresh ways to tackle challenges. We value diversity deeply and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer by choice." The equal opportunity part is boilerplate; we should remove that sentence. Keep the values sentence maybe.
We also have "This role requires compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (collectively, “Export Control Laws"). Any offer of employment will be contingent on the need for compliance with such Export Control Laws." Remove.
Also "Salary range for this full-time position + equity + benefits. The actual salary will depend on level, location, qualifications, and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects new hire salaries for the position across all US locations." This is more about salary; we can keep maybe in Pay section but we already have salary range. Could add a note but it's not boilerplate; it's substantive. Might include in Pay section as a paragraph.
Now construct HTML.
We'll have:
