Metrology Engineer I

Role Responsibilities

• Perform instrument calibrations as required by monthly schedule
• Conduct or support Cleanroom HEPA certifications activities
• Complete and pass gowning qualification for entry into an aseptic core
• Instrument/Equipment troubleshooting and repair
• Maintain Metrology laboratory equipment/systems
• Obtain necessary calibration documentation and complete administrative paperwork
• Enter calibration reports and cleanroom testing documentation into the appropriate database
• Work with purchasing department to ensure proper documentation is available on instruments sent to an outside lab
• Package and secure instrumentation for shipment

Basic Qualifications

• Associates degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
• 3+ years of related experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical company instrument calibration setting
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple competing priorities and requirements
• Effective under and management of strict production, time, and performance deadlines
