About the role

Raytheon is seeking a Metrology Database Support Administrator to maintain, optimize, and support our Calibration Management Software (CMS) database. The CMS database manages calibration, measurement, and recall data used across multiple Raytheon sites. In this role, you’ll ensure system reliability, data integrity, and efficient data workflows while collaborating with metrology engineers, test and validation teams, and IT to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update, and configure CMS database structures for high-volume calibration and measurement data.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for metrology data management.
  • Automate data validation, processing, and reporting routines.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and ensure system uptime and data quality.
  • Document system configurations and assist team members with data entry, reporting, and analysis needs.
  • Collaborate with teams across multiple Raytheon sites.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree in a related field).
  • Experience working with databases and/or metrology data systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.
  • Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IndySoft calibration management software.
  • Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational database design and optimization.
  • Familiarity with languages/tools such as Pascal/Delphi, VBScript, VBA, Power Query, C, C++, PowerShell, or HTBasic.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable collaborating across engineering and operations teams.
  • Familiarity with metrology quality standards or audit requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 17025, ANSI Z540, NIST).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
