THE WORK
Responsibilities
- Specify and write new calibration, test, and other maintenance procedures
- Analyze, test, and deploy automated/semi-automated procedures using multiple platforms to manipulate, store, and report calibration data
- Develop uncertainty budgets through analyzing, interpreting, and utilizing laboratory and/or higher level calibration laboratory data
- Track and perform trend analysis for laboratory calibration data
- Troubleshoot and resolve calibration system problems
- Provide training/technical assistance to other laboratory personnel
- Participate in metrology/calibration training courses to stay current on technical advances
- Assist in planning calibration workloads when inputs are needed
- Ensure equipment calibrations are complete in a timely manner to meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with onsite Operations and Engineering teams to drive Metrological Compliance through documentation and training
- Maintain laboratory accreditation as required
- Maintain calibration standards
- Support customer with timely responses
- Support the team in identifying processes improvements
- May require limited domestic travel

- Calibration experience within the DC/Low Frequency and Primary Standards Disciplines
- Experience writing programs using Fluke Met/Cal and MS Office Products
- LabWindows and .NET programming experience
- Fluke Met/Cal experience
- Fluke Met/Team experience
- IndySoft experience
- Experience working within an ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, or NAVSEA accredited laboratory
- Formal military PMEL training
