Metrics Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
• Design and implement data models and metrics to measure business performance and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
• Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations for data-driven decision making.
• Develop and maintain documentation of data sources, metrics, and reporting processes.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support business needs.

Requirements

• Standard work schedule will be Monday through Friday, within the core hours of 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: HS Diploma and 11+ years of relevant experience OR associate’s degree and 9+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Experience with data visualization tools, particularly: Tableau, Power BI, and Strong understanding of data modeling and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Reporting and Performance Analytics.
• Previous experience supporting IT service management and business operations.
• Analytics, or strategic performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with ITIL or ITSM processes, particularly within the ServiceNow platform.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time. Occasionally moves inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with coworkers.
