About the Role
Engineering Industries eXcellence is seeking a 100% remote/WFH Methodology Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience implementing software solutions with an object-oriented approach for Aerospace & Defense Mechanical Engineering. This role involves joining an established team of engineers who collaborate to create custom solutions within NX (Unigraphics) using an Agile Development methodology.
Responsibilities
- Work with users to develop requirements
- Contribute to the architecture of the solution
- Ensure timely deliverables
- Document the design and testing of the solution
- Create business and technical plans to support Design Automation Practice and customer goals
- Support user acceptance testing
Education
BS or higher in Computer Science, Math, or Mechanical Engineering with relevant programming experience.
Qualifications
- 1-5 years' experience in an engineering or design environment with a passion for coding/programming
- Experience with object-oriented code architecture and design
- Experience writing functional specifications, requirements, and design documents li>Experience conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and testing small to medium engineering software applications in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- Engineering problem solving
- NX/Open (other CAD API’s a plus)
- NX including Knowledge Fusion and Checkmate
- Teamcenter (user)
- .NET (VB & C#)
- Ability to articulate system design and development best practices
- Experience creating comprehensive test plans and anticipating test coverage issues
- Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience
- Data management knowledge
- Software configuration management knowledge
- Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information

This is a 100% Remote/WFH position with up to 10% travel required.
