Metalworking Production Operator - 3rd Shift - Starting salary $21

Job Responsibilities

• Operation of metalworking machinery for forming, bending, turning, milling and/or cutting steel.
• Perform routine operations including loading raw material and start-up/shut down of equipment.
• Monitor machine performance regarding accuracy of quantity and quality output, making adjustments as needed.
• Perform basic preventative and routine machine maintenance.
• Manual assembly of product with use of manual and powered tools.
• Proper stacking and protection of parts as required to maintain specified quality standard.
• Submit first and last piece production for Quality Control approval.
• Enter data on production reports regarding shop orders worked on, quantity produced, time worked, etc.
• Follow and verify all instruction provided by work orders and customer blueprints.
• Notify supervision of problems with equipment and/or tooling that may cause defects/lost time.

Qualifications

• Able to accurately read blueprints.
• Prior metalworking, construction, or mechanical trade experience, is ideal.
• Able to pass background check.
• Able to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
