What You Will Do
- Assists in providing technical support and advice in Metallurgical testing and analysis at assigned site.
- Assists in Metallurgical studies and conducting analyses.
- Prepares standard reports on Metallurgical or process issues and assists in recommending appropriate action to resolve or correct issues.
- Affords assistance in reviewing new or enhanced Metallurgical testing equipment or protocols.
- Affords assistance in evaluating and administering contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
- Develops and maintains an understanding of applicable programs, practices and existing/proposed local, State and Federal regulations applicable to area of assignment.
- Performs other duties as required.
What You Bring To Freeport
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry or related Engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of the basic principles and methods used in Metallurgical and processing analyses.
- Able to conduct research and analyze information or considerable difficulty to draw valid conclusions.
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Skilled in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.

What We Offer You
- The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $75,000-$104,000.
- This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions.
- Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
- This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
