  Pay

  Pay Range: $19.00 to $25.00 (Depending on Experience)

    Qualifications

    • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment
    • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift including weekends and holidays
    • Intermediate skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
    • 5+ years of experience
    • Experience with QMOS and SAP preferred
    • Physical ability to lift 35-50 lbs.

      Requirements

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment
      • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift including weekends and holidays
      • Use math and knowledge of the job to determine if product is within specs
      • Intermediate skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
      • 5+ years of experience
      • Experience with QMOS and SAP preferred
      • Capable to perform the physical requirements of the job (lift 35-50 lbs.)

        Skills

        • Ability to communicate inspection results in real time
        • Ability to cut, prepare, and inspect samples
        • Ability to maintain and operate spectrograph and related equipment
        • Ability to maintain and operate tensile test machine and bending test apparatus
        • Ability to perform chemical analysis of steel samples
        • Ability to record, verify, and submit test results
        • Ability to use extensometer and recorder
        • Ability to utilize ancillary equipment (metallography, potable hardness tester, etc.)
        • Ability to verify test results against product specifications
        • Ability to support billet heat traceability activities
