Metallurgical Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Contribute to 1–3 high-impact projects focused on defect reduction and process improvement.
• Support initiatives that enhance value-added steel manufacturing processes and operational performance.
• Develop practical problem-solving and quality management skills through real-world project work.

Requirements

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
• Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester
• Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university

Qualifications

• PREFERRED MAJORS: Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related

Skills

Interns should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for quality and process improvement.
