Engineering Intern

Whitestone Associates, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned Geotechnical and Environmental consulting firm with offices throughout the eastern United States. This is a summer internship running from May/June through August, with flexible hours based on our project needs. Key Responsibilities: Soil laboratory testing and coordination;Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory;Geotechnical site research;Some field construction phase testing and inspection;Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations;Assisting with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments;Phase II Site Investigation/Remedial Investigations; andAssisting with due diligence reports and regulatory agency submittals. Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; andIdeally candidates will have taken and passed a Soils Laboratory class. Higher compensation than the amount listed below may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications. Hourly Pay Range: $20 USD - $22 USD Benefits: Benefits eligibility is dependent on full-time employment status.
