Metallography & Analytical Systems Service Engineer

About the role

LECO Corporation is seeking a Metallography & Analytical Systems Service Engineer to join our team in Erie, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallography, analytical systems, and service engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LECO’s metallographic and analytical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment.
• Document and report on system performance and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and provide training on system operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in metallography, analytical systems, or service engineering.
• Experience with LECO metallographic and analytical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of metallographic techniques and analytical methods.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
