Metallography & Analytical Systems Service Engineer

About the role

Responsible for providing technical support and service for LECO’s metallography and analytical systems. This includes troubleshooting equipment issues, training customers on system operation, and maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to LECO’s metallography and analytical systems.
• Provide hands-on training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of LECO products.
• Maintain and update customer records and documentation.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to provide support and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support or service role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of metallography techniques and analytical instrumentation.
• Experience with customer relationship management software.

Pay

$75,000 - $82,000 annually.
