Metal Handler - 3rd Shift

About the role

Responsible for all metal finishing processes and ensuring that all required processes are completed to produce parts that meet quality and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Deburring, grinding, flatten, time-save, blasting, in-process cleaning of surgical cases and trays.
• Inspect products to blueprint specifications.
• Perform visual inspections for burrs.
• Utilize and complete documentation/paperwork as required.
• Understand and follow policy and procedures.
• Ensure general maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
• Comply with ISO policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot problems associated with equipment, tooling, and processes.
• Occasionally assemble work instruments.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Once competency is demonstrated, may be required to train others in similar roles.
• Demonstrate ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision‑making, work quality, and reduce costs; identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI‑generated outputs.
