Metal Fitter Tacker C (TEMP) Contract
Job Description
Summary: Set up and fit detailed parts on aircraft, aerospace and similar assemblies. Performs hand grinding, expanding and hand fitting to blueprint dimensions for heliarc tacking, welding and/or resistance welding.
- Performs such typical operations as aligning machined details or stampings preparatory to welding operations.
- Trims, scribes, files or grinds parts to templates or scribed lines.
- Sets up single jobs in assembly jig for welding.
- Assists higher classified workers as required.
- Performs rework, repair and other associated operations relating to the work described.
- Maintain minimum output of 65%.
- Maintain minimum product quality acceptance of 90%.
- Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: • High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 3- 6 months of related and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 1:00am
Target Annual Rate: $49,920.00
