Metal Finishing + Patina Specialist

About the role

The Metal Finishing + Patina Specialist is responsible for applying various finishes and patinas to metal surfaces to enhance their aesthetic appeal and durability.

Responsibilities

• Apply finishes such as lacquer, enamel, and rust-inhibiting coatings to metal components.
• Develop and maintain patina techniques to achieve desired aged metal effects.
• Work closely with project managers and other artisans to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Perform maintenance tasks on equipment and tools used in the finishing process.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in metal finishing or related field.
• Proficiency in using spray guns, polishing machines, and other finishing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Skills

• Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
• Experience with chemical treatments and surface preparation techniques.
• Basic understanding of environmental safety protocols.
