About the Role
We are seeking a Metal Finishing Polisher for our Grand River Polishing location in Spring Lake, Michigan. This position involves operating a manual polishing or buffing lathe. Polishing experience is preferred, but we will provide training.
Responsibilities
- Operate a manual polishing or buffing lathe to perform metal finishing tasks.
- Produce quality parts quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
- Maintain good hand-eye coordination while handling tools and controls.
Work Environment
- Work near moving mechanical parts with a loud noise level.
- Stand for extended periods and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Regularly required to talk or hear; occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Physical Demands
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
