Metal Fabricator (Welder) - Day Shift

What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform specialized welding and custom metal fabrication to support production needs
- Diagnose issues, design solutions, and repair production equipment efficiently
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Fabricate, assemble, grind, drill, and finish metal components
- Set up fabrication equipment (press brakes, shears) and create custom templates
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery using manuals
- Maintain safety standards, inspect work quality, and keep a clean workspace
- Occasionally assist in training personnel
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–4 years of welding/fabrication experience in an industrial environment
- Advanced mechanical and fabrication skills required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in reading technical documents and communicating effectively
- Solid math skills (geometry, algebra, measurements)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Access
