Duties and Responsibilities
- Keeping a very organized, efficient and safe metal shop.
- Review drawings and establish effective workflows for production.
- Review information with the fabrication team via project management software, whiteboard, and wall posters.
- Ability to lift and handle 60 lbs.
- Inspect tools and equipment for repairs and/or replacement.
- Must be able to work during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and have the ability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends as required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience with range of metalworking tools and methods: MIG/TIG, laser, machining, bending/forming.
- Relevant past experience would include interior architectural work, furniture, sculpture, and unique constructions.
- An ideal candidate would have demonstrable experience in woodwork, plastics, motors, or mechanisms.
- Some familiarity with other methods/materials should be evident based on your past experience.
