Metal Fabricator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding techniques to securely join metals according to applicable ASME codes and standards.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and tape measures, to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Perform pipe threading, frame and guard manufacturing, and mechanical component assembly.
• Apply rigging and mechanical knowledge during fabrication and assembly projects.
• Follow all safety procedures related to manufacturing and construction environments, including crane operation, forklift operation, and power tool usage.
• Collaborate with team members on projects involving plasma cutting, press brake operations, machining, soldering, welding, and assembly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven manufacturing background with hands-on welding and fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with calipers, tape measures, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
• Knowledge of ASME codes and standards related to welding and fabrication.
• Basic math skills for measurements and fabrication calculations.
• Mechanical knowledge, including pipe threading, rigging procedures, and assembly techniques.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$22.97–$28.00/hour

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours/week

• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Overtime: As needed

Travel

None required; future travel opportunities may be available for interested candidates based on customer needs.
