What You’ll Do

• Turn Ideas Into Reality
• Take customer concepts, drawings, and specs and turn them into clear, buildable fabrication packages
• Own the detailing process from start to finish with precision and speed
• Ensure every design is optimized for manufacturability, cost, and quality
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building long-term relationships
• Understand client needs and recommend tailored manufacturing solutions
• Manage an existing book of business while pursuing new leads and growth opportunities
• Represent Pen Manufacturing with professionalism, technical confidence, and integrity
• Auxiliary support for project management and execution
• Assist in developing timelines, budgets, and schedules to align with customer expectations
• Work cross-functionally with production control and shop floor teams to ensure job requirements are met
• Monitor project progress and provide proactive communication and solutions for any obstacles
• Leverage CRM, ERP, and project management systems (Salesmate, Asana, Fulcrum) to improve workflow and client communication
• Continuously look for process improvements to reduce turnaround time and increase quoting accuracy
• Stay current with manufacturing trends, materials, and technologies to bring innovative solutions to customers

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of machining, sheet metal fabrication, structural welding, and part tolerancing
• Experience: Proven success managing projects. Experience in industrials preferred, but not required. Experience being a hunter mentality to close sales within deadlines and quotas
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD, ERP, CRM, and quoting tools; experience with Paperless Parts is a major plus
• Analytical Acumen: Ability to read technical drawings, assess manufacturability, and offer efficient solutions
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical conversations
• Problem-Solving: Resourceful and strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, high-precision environments
• Driven: Proven ability to aggressively pursue and close sales opportunities, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

Pay Range

$60,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD per year
