About the role
A company in Grand Rapids is looking for Metal Fabricators/Welders.
Schedule
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Shift hours: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Pay
- $20 – $26 per hour (depending on experience)
Requirements
- Experience in grinding and sanding fabricated welded assemblies
- Ability or willingness to learn to operate a variety of fabrication machinery (e.g., saw, hydraulic press, belt sanding machines, Scotchman cold saw)
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding for steel and stainless steel; aluminum welding is a plus
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work in different areas as required by company needs
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, twist, lift, and perform routine tasks
Previous metal fabrication experience required
