Metal Development Specialist

Role Overview The Metal Development Specialist enhances the quality and development of stone-coated metal roofing operations. This position involves hands-on training and mentoring of Install Managers, Project Coordinators, and subcontracted Installation Partners to ensure excellence in material ordering, installation, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities Train teams on metal material ordering, system details, and best practices, including virtual and on-site sessions.Lead team meetings to support troubleshooting, training content creation, and process improvement.Ensure safety compliance, including OSHA standards and fall protection protocols.Mentor leaders in supervising crews and managing inventory efficiently.Master and certify in all company metal profiles, interpret Hover drawings, and stay current on industry verticals.Act as a communication link between field teams, inventory, and purchasing departments.Support warehouse inventory audits, organize tools and equipment, and promote warehouse efficiency.Proficiently use systems like Salesforce, Company Cam, and Hover, and maintain company vehicles and tools. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret Hover drawings and calculate material needs accurately.Strong knowledge of metal roofing systems and installation practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and remote troubleshooting skills.Certifications in metal profiles or willingness to obtain them.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with relevant software systems.Comfortable working outdoors and on roofs for hands-on training, with a focus on safety and compliance.Legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
